The Comacchio Marshes are part of Po Delta Regional Park, an area that extends between land and water, rich in wetlands, lagoons, rivers, rural areas and flooded forests.
Comacchio marshes are home for Glossy Ibis (pic.), Spoonbill, Pigmy Cormorant, waders such as Greenshank, Redshank, Oystercatcher, Black-winged Stilt, and also Short Eared Owl can be seen, plus European Roller, European Bee-eater and many more!
